Salary: 12,000AED – 18,000AED (depending on skill set and will be reviewed after a 6-month probation period)

We are looking for a Senior BIM Architect to join our client in the UAE. Our client is a medium-sized theming, turnkey, design-build company with around 20 Design staff and is looking to strengthen our team due to an influx of incoming projects in the region. You will be responsible for managing and presenting the design of various projects. You will work closely with the Head of Design, along with the entire Design Team on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production. Your responsibility will include managing and producing all project deliverables, meeting overall project design schedules, as well as preparing and presenting design deliverables to all stakeholders.

 

 

Job Description:

  • Provide motivation and leadership to the current design team
  • Establishing best practices for the design teame3r4sd
  • Coordinate all design matters relating to a project while managing assigned architects
  • Take the lead on the optimization of the design quality control system
  • Work with the LEAD / BIM Manager to agree and to ensure design schedules are maintained
  • Work with other members of management to streamline the design process
  • Represent the company during client meetings and presentations
  • Responsible for project direction in support of client expectations
  • Final check/sign off of drawings before client submission

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Architecture/Project Management and with more 5 years post qualification experience and at least 2-3 most recent years in large projects (commercial, mixed use, hospitality, leisure & entertainment)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to lead design projects from concept to completion and manage team members to achieve tight deadlines
  • Skilful ability to supervise and develop employees
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multi-cultural team
  • Excellent communication, efficiency, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, AutoCAD, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint,BIM360 , ACC and sufficient knowledge in InDesign, SketchUp, 3DMax, COBie , & Omni class
  • Ability to model from SD to IFC with respective LODs
  • Verify that drawings are accurate, legible, and follow applicable drafting codes
  • Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain standard drawing documentation
  • Execute BEP, MIDP, RFI’s, Clash detections, and LOD’s
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Mechanical systems including, but not limited to; HVAC, lighting, fire & safety
  • Understanding of architectural and structural details
  • Design and construction processes and sequence
  • Building and Accessibility codes
  • Material specifications
  • Construction administration knowledge of RFI’s, submittal review, field observation
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Understand the importance of technical accuracy with a high level of attention to detail
