Key Responsibilities
- Ability to fully conduct and manage Traffic Safety Audits (all stages) for all types of roads/junctions/underpasses/tunnels/bridges following standard Guidelines/Processes from concept design stage to detailed design stage and thereafter
- Incorporate the safe system approach into projects, acknowledging human errors while designing systems to prevent fatalities and serious injuries
- Conduct specialized road safety studies when needed
- Offer insights and recommendations based on a deep analysis of traffic/safety patterns, high-risk locations, and the effectiveness of targeted interventions, and propose informed recommendations
- Manage Road Safety related projects
- Provide insights and recommendations based on the latest developments and best practices in road safety
- Conduct Crash Site Investigations as per approved procedures
- Lead or participate in safety reviews of different road design projects for all stages.
- Lead or participate in client and contractor/other meetings.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior staff through all stages of multiple projects, at various stages of development.
Key Requirements
- 15 years+ overall experience
- Road Safety Audit (RSA) Team Leader with internationally recognized certification and considerable experience
- Site visit experience for all stages of RSAs
- Good experience in Crash Site investigations
- Project management experience
