Trade Marketing Manager
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) family company based in the vibrant city of Dubai. With a rich history and a commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers, they are looking for a dynamic and strategic Trade Marketing Manager to join their team and drive our brand’s presence in the market.

Position Overview
As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth in the highly competitive FMCG industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are effectively promoted and positioned in the market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trade Marketing Strategy Development Develop an:d execute trade marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives. This includes creating and implementing promotional campaigns, trade incentives, and marketing initiatives to increase product sales.
2. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and threats. Use market research data to make informed decisions and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
3. Retailer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors. Collaborate with them to develop joint marketing initiatives, co-promotions, and merchandising plans that maximize the visibility and sales of our products.
4. Budget Management: Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring all activities are cost-efficient and delivering a strong return on investment.
5. Brand Activation: Lead the planning and execution of in-store activations, point-of-sale displays, and trade promotions to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
6. Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, materials, and support to achieve sales targets. Ensure clear communication and alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, supply chain, and advertising agencies to ensure seamless integration of marketing strategies and product launches.
8. Performance Measurement: Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives. Regularly report on performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
– Proven experience in trade marketing within the FMCG industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
– Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and retail channels in Dubai and the wider UAE market.
– Exceptional project management and communication skills.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software/tools.
– Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
