About Our Client

Our client is one of the fastest-growing holding (Construction, Real Estate, Automotive and Energy) firms in the form of an Investment Group in Central Asia.

Based in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, this role will be exclusively located on our client’s largest investment, a construction materials business in Samarkand with a possibility of being based in Tashkent depending on the candidate’s family needs and/or profile.

 

They are seeking a senior Plant Production Director to be based in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Working alongside their local management and reporting to their investment team, the ideal candidate will have a proven background in accounting, finance or a related field, strong analytical and arithmetic skills, and a dependable and adventurous spirit.

This position is a senior role which is part of the company’s management committee, and the candidate will report directly to general management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

-Come from a background in concrete and/or cement production and master the “technologist” part which concerns the management and optimization of concrete recipes according to its local components.

 

– Know and master the on-line precast factory, “ready-mix” concrete and raw materials crusher (stone and sand). Work closely with the accounting team to help define and improve our production costs as well as on the company’s internal management software (Excel, 1C).

 

– Know and master the maintenance of its production machines and liaison with its suppliers, as well as the logistics of delivering ready-mix concrete.

 

– Know how to manage and discipline your teams as well as organize their agendas and objectives with HR according to the needs of the company. Understand employment and safety standards on site.

 

– The candidate must speak Russian (mandatory) and have a level of English and/or French as well. Uzbek could be a distinctive advantage.

 

-Ideally looking for a candidate from the region with 8-15 years of experience. However, our client remains flexible based on the market trends.
