Package: USD 50K / Year (based on profile, experience and potential) inclusive of discretionary bonus 1-3 months’ salary based on personal sales performance + annual bonus indexed on the company’s performance.

About Our Client

Our client is one of the fastest-growing holding (Construction, Real Estate, Automotive and Energy) firms in the form of an Investment Group in Central Asia.

Based in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, this role will be exclusively located on our client’s largest investment, a construction materials business in Samarkand with a possibility of being based in Tashkent depending on the candidate’s family needs and/or profile.

Position Summary:

The Commercial Director will play a crucial role in driving the growth and profitability of our construction company in Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the CIS construction market, with a deep understanding of the local business landscape and a strong command of the Russian language.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and revenue.

* Identify and target new business opportunities in the B2B construction market.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, and engineers.

* Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring profitable terms and conditions.

* Oversee the sales team, providing leadership, training, and support.

* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

* Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

* Proven track record in sales and business development within the construction industry in CIS countries

* Strong command of the Russian language (verbal and written)

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Experience in a multinational or international company preferred
