Salary Package: IDR 100 Million – 150 Million / Month (depending on potential & experience)

About Our Client

Our client is a Jakarta-based international engineering company established in 2020, specializing in EPC construction, environmental protection, and energy-saving technology. As a branch of a Chinese firm, they focus on power plants, waste-to-energy, and industrial infrastructure. Their core business & services imply Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC): Focusing on industrial park systems, steam power plants, and Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP).

Environmental Protection: Providing waste-to-energy, sewage sludge treatment, exhaust gas treatment, and environmental remediation.

Industrial Infrastructure: Developing comprehensive energy utilization and waste management solutions.

Role Overview 

We are looking for a fully loaded PIFM to lead the financial and investment structuring of strategic projects, connecting EPC capabilities with investors, banks, funds, developers and project owners.

Primary Objective

Develop commercially viable financing and investment solutions that help our client secure

and execute priority infrastructure, energy and industrial projects.

1. Design of Project Investment and Financing Solutions

• Design financing structures based on project type, including EPC, EPC+F, BOO, BOT, IPP, leasing, PPA and other suitable models.

• Analyze project CAPEX, OPEX, revenue streams, payback period, IRR and overall financing feasibility.

• Assess whether a project is suitable for bringing in investors, funds, banks or joint-venture developers.

2. Development of Investor and Financial Institution Networks

• Liaise with banks, funds, investment companies, IPPs, developers, family offices and investment platforms of

state-owned and private enterprises.

• Establish and maintain an investor database and project-matching matrix.

• Identify potential financiers, investors and strategic partners for OUR CLIENT’s priority projects.

3. Supporting the Marketing Department in Securing Projects

• Provide financing solutions as a competitive advantage for OUR CLIENT when clients lack sufficient funding.

• Assist marketing managers in discussing payment terms, financing structures and investment partnership models

with project owners.

• Support the development of business models for data centers, solar power, BESS, WTE, water treatment, power infrastructure and related projects.

4. Project Feasibility and Risk Assessment

• Conduct preliminary financial assessments covering revenue, costs, taxes, financing costs and cash-flow risks.

• Identify risks relating to client creditworthiness, land, permits, PPAs, off-takers, foreign-exchange exposure, policy

and payment conditions.

• Provide investment and financing recommendations to management, including whether to proceed, put a project on

hold, abandon it or seek partners.

5. Commercial Documentation and Negotiation Support

• Prepare investment partnership proposals, financing plans, project business models and investor briefings.

• Assist discussions on commercial terms for KSO, JV, MOU, cooperation agreements, term sheets and related

arrangements.

• Collaborate with legal, finance, marketing and technical teams to move projects from opportunity assessment

toward execution.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience: At least 5 years in investment and financing, project finance, infrastructure investment, energy

investment, banking, fund management, IPP or property development.

• Industry exposure: Familiarity with energy, power, infrastructure, data centers, environmental protection or

industrial projects is an advantage.

• Financial modelling: Able to independently conduct project financial modelling and develop practical financing

proposals.

• Network: Established contacts with banks, funds, investors, developers or government-related projects.

• Stakeholder management: Able to communicate and negotiate effectively with project owners, investors, banks

and EPC teams.

• Language: Fluency in English is essential. Chinese proficiency is an advantage but not essential.

• Indonesia experience: Experience with local projects in Indonesia is preferred.
