Our client is a Jakarta-based international engineering company established in 2020, specializing in EPC construction, environmental protection, and energy-saving technology. As a branch of a Chinese firm, they focus on power plants, waste-to-energy, and industrial infrastructure. Their core business & services imply Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC): Focusing on industrial park systems, steam power plants, and Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP).

Environmental Protection: Providing waste-to-energy, sewage sludge treatment, exhaust gas treatment, and environmental remediation.

Industrial Infrastructure: Developing comprehensive energy utilization and waste management solutions.

Role Overview 

We are seeking a PR & Corporate Communications Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) for a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this position, you will develop and distribute press releases, manage media relations, and oversee public relations initiatives. Key tasks include crafting clear communication strategies, building strong relationships with media professionals, and ensuring consistent corporate messaging. You will also play a vital role in enhancing the company’s public image and fostering engagement with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

Proficiency in Press Releases, Public Relations, and Media Relations

Strong skills in Communication and Strategic Communications

Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken

Proven ability to build relationships with media professionals and stakeholders

Experience in corporate communications or a related field, preferably in engineering or energy industries

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a relevant field preferably from US or UK University.

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural work environment

10- Being able to speak impeccably the local language (Indonesian / Malay) and English
