Salary: AED 6K – 8K – Work visa + health insurance will be provided by the hiring company.

Position Overview:
The Lighting Estimator plays a critical role in our organization by providing accurate and timely estimates for lighting projects. This position involves analyzing project requirements, conducting cost assessments, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that our clients receive competitive and reliable lighting proposals. The Lighting Estimator must have a strong understanding of lighting products, industry standards, and project management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Analysis: Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to gain a thorough understanding of the lighting project scope.
2. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate lighting project estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
3. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest lighting products, technologies, and industry trends to provide cost-effective and energy-efficient lighting solutions.
4. Vendor Relations: Collaborate with lighting product vendors to obtain competitive pricing and product information, ensuring that estimates are based on current market conditions.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain organized and comprehensive documentation of estimates, including itemized lists, pricing details, and project assumptions.
6. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements, address inquiries, and present estimates professionally.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to align project estimates with client expectations and company goals.
8. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all estimates meet company standards for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
9. Budget Management: Assist in tracking project budgets and monitoring actual costs against estimated costs throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and development activities to enhance estimating skills and stay current with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience as a Lighting Estimator or in a similar role in the lighting industry.
3. Strong knowledge of lighting products, fixtures, controls, and related technologies.
4. Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Project management knowledge is a plus.
10. Familiarity with industry regulations and codes.
